Today’s RJ’s Specials is the smashing hit track by the top class Punjabi artist Gurlej Akhtar. Gurlej first started her career by singing a duet with Sukhwinder Sukhi in 2004 that received a lot of praise for being a wonderful performance. Since then, she has come a long way in the industry and keeps pumping out hit tracks that keep making the headlines everywhere. This track was released in November of 2018 and was advertised as a satirical take on government employees in India who are unwilling to do their work and do their jobs properly for the betterment of society. The track was released by Saga Music and was a big success having achieved upwards of 16 million views and 51k likes on youtube at the time of this writing. The movie presentation for the track was by Farid Entertainment and New Era movies. The number was produced by the famed producer Jagmeet Singh and was directed by Manav Shah. The track is an amazing one and has been performing quite well on our station, thus, it was pertinent to include this number in the daily RJ’s Specials.
